Jasmine Hidalgo
Jasmine’s lifelong career in baking began as a child. She mastered traditional family recipes long before she achieved her associate degree in culinary art and certificate in pastry.
She has worked in high-volume shops such as Wegmans and Tops, village bake shops like Elm Street Bakery, and artisan boutiques such as Zillycakes over the last two decades. She contributed her creativity, dedication, and talent to a team that earned recognition from an industry titan. Reality TV personality Bartolo “Buddy” Valastro praised the team during Canada’s Baking & Sweets Show in Toronto.
Jasmine brings her deep knowledge and skill–as well as two team members who participated in the Canadian baking event–to Frost Artisan Bakery where she now serves as the executive pastry chef. Jasmine has revitalized the bakery to deliver classic, custom, and seasonal offerings in her own unique style. It’s her passion to give every customer a joyous, comforting memory with every dessert and pastry she creates.
Jennifer Reese
Jenn is Frost Artisan Bakery’s designated cookie artist. Her exquisite work is highly influenced by specific elements and design techniques she acquired as part of the fine arts curriculum at Niagara County Community College.
Each individual dessert Jenn creates is an exclusive, hand-crafted work of art that cannot be found anywhere else. She takes pride in the quality of her work and is ecstatic to produce one-of-a-kind desserts for those who walk through the doors of Frost.
Shannon Pilarski
Shannon always had a passion for cake artistry, but it was creating cakes with her three daughters that launched her into a successful, full-time career in baking. Her reputation for exquisite design soared as she became the cake artist and cake sculptress at Muscoreli’s and Zillycakes respectively, where she met Jasmine and the entire Frost team for the first time.
Despite her growing fame, Shannon never forgot the promise she made to her family: appearing on the food network as an example to her daughters that anything is possible. In 2011, the self-made baker debuted on the “Food Network Challenge” for two episodes featuring signature Star Wars and Ghost Story cake designs!
She returned to Buffalo and continued to perfect her craft; her titles evolving alongside her own growth. She secured the title of Bakery Manager at Orchard Fresh, where she developed its cake program alongside Chrusciki Bakery’s, before eventually earning the Executive Pastry Chef position at Elmstreet Bakery. That is, until Jasmine invited her to join forces once more at Frost: the bakery they have always dreamed of having together.
